Sivamani is a favorite of the legendary composer A.R. Rehman, whose almost every song has Sivamani giving his special personal touch of some percussion instrument.
Apart from Rehman, Sivamani is a regular part of the Louis Banks, Karl Peters, Shankar Mahadevan troupe, playing Jazz and fusion music !

Born and brought up in Chennai, Sivamani has been inspired by his father, S.M. Anandan who happens to be a well known percussion maestro in the Tamil Film industry circle.

In recent times Sivamani got the much awaited exposure through TVS SAREGAMA and special festival and New Year Programs, where he performed with maestros like Zakir Hussain on special notes.
