My mother, Vrunda K. Naik has been my biggest critic as she
has always pointed out my mistakes, my weak points. She is my friend, my philantrophist
who looks to it that my head remains on my shoulders and my feet on the ground. It is rare that my mom will praise me for my work, but I know that it is just to keep me going without any distraction. My mom is a Bank Employee and is a very intelligent lady and of course a talented artist too. In her childhood days she has always been a topper in school and yo... a very talented artist too. She has acted in a lot of plays and musical dramas as a child artist and is a talented artist even today in her fifties. HE IS THE BEST MOM ONE CAN EVER HAVE ! |

"I still
remember the gift that Jaydeep, my late elder brother gave me when he was fighting his war
of life on the death bed.....and the gift was my first drums !! I don't know how can I offer my gratitude to his soul, yes but the day I complete his dream, I shall be a satisfied individual. Jaydeep I owe you all my music!!" Jaydeep K. Naik (1972-1995) was my elder brother, a National Level Scholar, M.Sc. (Microbiology) and had started his Ph.D. too. He is my Best Guru as he was the person who as an elder brother, influenced me the most. I followed his footsteps wherever he went and that's how I started playing Drums. Today when he is not with us, I still remember those moments when we played music together. He was a very good Rhythmist and a gifted singer too. I know that his blessings are always with me and our dreams are topmost on my priority level. Rarely does one get, such a talented and great brother !! |
Ravi
Vedant , a drummer, a technician, a recording Engineer etc. etc.( his
profile is as diversified as his musical talent) is my greatest guide apart from my
family. He owns the first digital recording studio in Pune 'Music Byte' and is a renowned
drummer too. It was Ravi Sir who change my vision about music and helped me realize my potential as a percussionist, as a musician. I still remember those days when I was wandering like a cloud with no destination and vision. It is Ravi sir who stopped me and showed me the way. He has given me such vital tips on music that they have really rejuvenated the musician in me. I still cherish those days I spent with him in Music Byte, learning to understand music and its dimensions. Ravi Sir, without you I would have been a lost musician, still searching for my destination. |
